Clear or stealth
Keep the gloss, or go satin
Clear film is invisible and keeps the factory gloss. Stealth film protects the same way and turns gloss paint to a satin finish, and it comes off again if you ever want the gloss back.
What it actually is
Pull the film apart
PPF isn’t cling film. It’s stacked layers, each with its own job. Tap a layer to separate it.
The stack
The two layers you notice are the outer surface, which is why it stays glossy, and the self-healing layer, which is why a light scratch closes when the sun hits it.
Topcoat
The outer surface. It keeps the gloss, sheds water and road grime, and takes the wear that would otherwise go into your clearcoat.
How we do it
Four steps, every install
-

01 Inspect
We assess the paint, document any damage, map the areas to protect and recommend a package.
-

02 Prepare
A deep clean and decontamination, paint correction if it needs it, then a final check of the surface.
-

03 Install
Custom-cut film, applied precisely, with the edges sealed and finished so it disappears.
-

04 Check and hand over
A final inspection, a walkthrough with you, care instructions and your warranty paperwork.
Common questions, answered
Before you book
- How long does it last?
- Quality film typically lasts 5 to 10 years, depending on how the car is driven, kept and stored.
- How long does it take?
- It depends on coverage: 1 to 2 days for a partial front, 2 to 4 days for a full car.
- When can I wash it?
- Give it at least 48 hours. After that, wash as normal, and skip harsh chemicals and brush car washes.
- Will it damage my paint when it comes off?
- No. Removed professionally, the film leaves the factory paint as it was, and it has been protected the whole time.
- Film or ceramic coating?
- They do different jobs. Film stops chips and scratches; a coating adds gloss and makes the car shed water. Plenty of owners have both, with the coating over the film.
