Heat and privacy are for each shade of film. The Ceramic and Premium packages use IR film rated at 80% and 98% infrared rejection.
Why ceramic
Three kinds of light, three different jobs
Visible light is the only one you choose: it is the shade. Ultraviolet is invisible and it is what fades an interior, and every film we fit blocks 99% of it.
Infrared is the heat you feel through the glass. Dyed film stops it by being dark; ceramic IR film stops it by what it is made of, so even a light, legal shade keeps the cabin cool.

Massachusetts requires side and rear glass to let through at least 35% of light, and allows a tinted strip across the top of the windshield. Anything darker needs a medical exemption from the Registry.
How we do it
Shaped to each window, by hand

01 Lay out
The film goes over the outside of the glass first, so it can be cut to that exact window.

02 Shape
Heat shrinks it to the curve of the glass, so it sits flat on a window that is anything but.

03 Fit
It goes on and is squeegeed out from the centre, pushing water and air to the edges.

04 Finished
Clean to the edges of the glass, then left to cure before the windows go down.
